Don't you hate it when the first thing in the morning on a Monday no less, someone at work makes you feel stabby? At least if it was the end of the day or possibly Thursday I wouldn't have felt as stabby. I can tell it's going to be one of those weeks already. Luckily I have pretty much everything done on the home front. I usually do laundry every two weeks and on the alternating weeks I clean around the apartment. Not like manic crazy Howard Hughes clean, but the usual. Nothing I love more than walking into a room when the carpet has been freshly vacuumed. Every morning before I go to work I make my bed. Not a tough task, but I feel better knowing that when I get home, I can come home to a clean room. And this has seeped into my organization of my closet and the clothes I wear. I have now arranged my pants and dress shirts in a certain order so that I can keep track of when certain things need to be dry-cleaned and of course when I wore what. All I need now is a tie rack. I have never been one of those people who has 100% discipline, but I do like to keep things pretty tidy and managable. It's nice to have the place presentable in case I bring home company unexpectedly. Ok, so a big what if. But I do like coming home and seeing everything pretty neat and clean. When I go on trips the first thing I do when I get home is unpack. I can't stand the idea of unfinished business before I relax. I like to get that out of the way and then relax when I get home.
My dvd's came in the mail today. I bought some dvds from Best Buy last week when they were on sale, 4 dvds for under $30. I haven't bought any in a few months and I was really in the mood to watch Top Secret! and after watching it, I certainly feel less stabby...until tomorrow anyway.
