A friend at work showed me these yestersay and I was cracking up all day. I felt it my duty to point them out. Especially as I am just about burnt out on the crap from Bush. He was at a rally the other day and told workers that they need retraining to compete in a changing economy. Maybe it's my own bias, but when Clinton spoke about this subject during his first campaign, it sounded like a good idea, forward thinking and optimistic. When I heard Bush say it, it sounded defeatist and almost like he was blaming workers for jobs leaving this country. All I could think was forget retraining, stop the damn jobs from leaving. We are so close to the only retraining left is to teach everyone how to flip burgers. And that may disappear as the new war on obesity begins to gather steam.
